The work is centered in South Sudan: scholars and coordination by Josephine Mangu in Juba, and gifted land in Wau and Aweil. Students in Kenya are supported too. The Kenya operating name is Panda Hope Kenya.

No. Theil T. Theil, founder and President and CEO of Undying Hope International, is a South Sudanese-American educator. He is a different person from the Dutch econometrician Henri Theil.

It is the operating name in Kenya, registered as a National NGO and a global partner of Undying Hope International. Theil wrote in December 2025 that Undying Hope could not register under its own name there because that name was already in use. Panda Hope Kenya was the alternative the registry accepted. He notes that panda means climb in Kiswahili and motherland in Dinka.

The vision began in 1986 in Aweil. Undying Hope International, Inc. was born in 2019. It was registered as an NGO in South Sudan in 2022, after two years of persistence.

Basic education, public health and healthcare services, leadership development, spiritual formation, and agriculture.

Undying Hope International plans to grow beyond South Sudan, focusing on Africa and the Arab world, beginning with Kenya through Panda Hope Kenya. Undying Hope Africa covers all African countries and regions. So far, it includes Undying Hope South Sudan, Panda Hope Kenya, and Undying Hope Ministries. In the future, Undying Hope Ministries will emerge as a stand-alone entity.
