Public health first

The journey starts with one of the five spheres, public health and healthcare services. The team will look at what that does before opening the others: education, leadership, spiritual formation, and agriculture.

Theil wrote that Dr. Charles M. Balch’s visits to hospitals in Kenya and Uganda had already informed the plan, and that the whole board was enthusiastic. He also wrote that the initiative aligns with his PhD dissertation. Health practitioners and scholars sit on the board, which is why the first subject is health.

This program is not the boarding school, and it is not a finished campus online. It is a training effort announced in May 2025, starting with public health.
