Spiritual formation
The mission names spiritual formation beside education, health, leadership, and agriculture. For us, spiritual formation is to strengthen a moral compass, promote love, unity, and peaceful co-existence, and advocate for national prayer. In Aweil the plan is a school, a community center, and a church, when the time is right. Theil is an ordained pastor. Health
Public health and healthcare services are a full pillar. Evaline William Arkangelo, supported by a scholarship, graduated in medicine in February 2025 and, by Josephine Mangu’s December 2025 note, was practicing at Juba Teaching Hospital. In 2024 we focused scarce scholarship funds on four final-year medical students. In May 2025 Theil announced a virtual program that begins with public health. A visiting team in February 2024 also visited hospitals.
