From the very beginning, Mabile distinguished himself not only as an intelligent young man but also as a visionary leader with discipline. While pursuing his law degree at the University of Juba, he approached every challenge with dedication and hard work, culminating in a First-Class degree achieved last February.
However, Mabile’s impact extends far beyond the academic realm. As Chair of the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab Advisory Board and the first-ever South Sudan EAC Youth Ambassador, he has represented the youth of Africa, helping to shape policy dialogue and ensure their voices are heard at both regional and international levels.
EXCELLENCE REWARDED; IMPACT AMPLIFIED
Mobile academic excellence, leadership, and vision led to his receiving Undying Hope’s scholarship. This scholarship represented more than just financial support; it validated his achievements, reaffirmed that his efforts mattered, and provided reassurance that he could reach his full potential.
This momentum propelled him to a remarkable new milestone. Mabile was recently offered a scholarship to pursue an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford, one of the most esteemed programs in the world. This opportunity marks not only a significant academic achievement but also a chance to enhance his impact, broaden his perspective, and develop the skills necessary to make a difference on a larger scale.
Reflecting on his journey, Mabile states, “Because someone believed in me, I gained the confidence to reach further and lead with intent. Excellence develops best when it is encouraged.”
Thanks to your generosity, one incredible scholar is now taking his talents to the world stage. While earning his MSc at Oxford University is a significant step, it is just the beginning of what lies ahead.
“Education in this far end of Africa is what we are yearning for. It is a dream some of our disadvantaged youth will never realize, solely because we are unable to afford its costs.
