A Better Future for South Sudan and Beyond

In 1986 a boy in Aweil watched the sky turn red. He carried that hope until it had a name.

Who we are

Five kinds of work, one hope.

We are raising a new generation of leaders for South Sudan. We were formed to promote quality education in South Sudan. Theil T. Theil, our founder and a native of South Sudan, understands that although his country has faced decades of war and many generations of extreme poverty, efforts must be made, that help is what is needed, and that nothing is impossible.

How we work

The five spheres.

The mission of Undying Hope is educational to impact the people of South Sudan, and beyond, in five spheres of activity: basic education, public health and healthcare services, leadership development, spiritual formation, and agriculture.

Still ahead

Undying Hope School of Leadership.

This four-year boarding school program for girls and boys will weave together a traditional secondary education with leadership and entrepreneurship training. It is planned for land gifted in Aweil and Wau. It is not open.

The school is meant to be a place where students from different communities live and study as one people. An administrative and coordination office in Juba is part of the same plan.

Undying Hope Africa

South Sudan, and beyond.

We are beginning with Kenya through Panda Hope Kenya. Undying Hope Africa includes Undying Hope South Sudan, Panda Hope Kenya, and Undying Hope Ministries. At UHI, we believe the same needs that exist in South Sudan are also elsewhere.
