Stories of Hope: Abak

Abak was always a bright student with a passion for learning, eager to build a future through her education. However, fate was not kind to her; at the start of her first year, she faced an unplanned pregnancy. Instead of receiving support, she was taken to the home of the child’s father and denied the chance to continue her schooling.

The situation was incredibly tough and disheartening, but Abak never lost sight of her goals. Thanks to her intelligence, dedication, and love of learning, she quietly hoped to one day return to school.

Her opportunity finally arrived when she learned about the Undying Hope scholarship program. Motivated by this chance, she applied for the scholarship and was overjoyed when she received it. This support allowed her to focus on her studies and work towards a better future for herself and her child.

Reflecting on her journey, Abak said, “This scholarship, along with the mentorship and counseling I received, has provided me with a second chance in life and in learning. I now have the opportunity to further my education and build a brighter future not only for myself but also for my child.”
