Stories of Hope: Founders

Undying Hope began its journey towards sustainability and community development over three years ago. The two co-founders, Theil and Aluel, aimed to give back to their community through education. With the support of generous donors, the organization purchased land in Aweil and started a tree farm, which is currently in its early stages—the oldest trees are just two years old. Although still young, the farm represents the foundation of a long-term plan to generate sustainable funding for the organization.

The vision is ambitious: to use future proceeds from the tree farm to build a multi-business complex that will include a school, hospital, chapel, guest house, office spaces, and the founders’ residence. These facilities aim to address key community needs, such as access to education, healthcare, spiritual support, and economic opportunities.

As the trees steadily grow, the dream remains firmly planted. This project has already united the community around a common goal and has created early opportunities for environmental stewardship and long-term planning. Therefore, this initiative means planting more than just trees; it signifies planting hope, resilience, and the promise of a better future for generations to come.
